BMW R1200C TECHNICAL INFORMATION

 

Staintune Australia has developed a system for the BMW R 1200C, a well-developed cruiser.

Staintune has designed a slash cut style, dual exhaust system with a center crossover piece. The system still runs the standard BMW oxygen sensor.

The oxygen sensor refits into the left muffler while on the standard system it fits into the crossover.

There are no engine adjustments required when fitting the Staintune system to the BMW R1200C, it is pure bolt on performance with the ability to provide those head turning looks.

There is a general 5hp gain that may differ up to +/- 1Hp between individual bikes. The most positive feedback we receive is the gain in throttle response especially through mid range this is what a free flowing exhaust will do, allowing the exhaust gasses to exit quickly which lets the engine breath more efficiently.

There is also a considerable weight saving between the standard system and the Staintune: 2.4 kg

Exhaust Note
The note from the Staintune is deep and throaty when compared to the standard system, again feedback from owners tell us that now their bike sounds as good as it looks.

The system is easy to fit and you don’t need to be a mechanic to change it.
