capacity to self-install the kit and to determine whether the kit will require
modification to fit their motorcycle. Please carefully consider whether you
should undertake installation yourself, if you are mechanically capable. If not,
please approach your local BMW dealer or any capable mechanic to get your kit
fitted. Ask your dealer to contact us if you - or they - would prefer you
purchase the kit and installation from them. Installation will probably take
about 5 hours labor by a professional.
The BMW R1200GS Electronic Cruise Control unit is specifically designed for
that motorcycle except for a couple of terminations on the wiring loom. The unit
includes a custom loom, but has a couple of pig-tail terminations which must be
