Operating control / radio interface on handlebars

BMW operating control type 2 for Blaupunkt car radios

Art-No.: 51145

Radio interface for BMW motorcycle radio operating control (with oval socket and mute button).

Makes it possible to use all car radios from Blaupunkt with RC 08/10 remote control* on BMW motorcycles without abandoning the advantages of the radio remote control on the handlebars.

Possible Operations:

╖   Volume plus / minus (Vol)

╖   Search forward / back (Seek)

╖   Mute

╖   Additional features with external buttons, see below

Mounting:

Encasement, radio compartment and possibly the radio have to be removed.

Connect ISO plug green to the back of the radio into C-2. Plug in oval plug of the operating control (on the left side outside of the radio compartment).

Put radio interface under the rubber lead through into the radio compartment. Correctly renew all sealings. Radio, radio compartment and encasement can now be remounted.

Additional features, if desired:

Bare the wires of the cable loom and connect with waterproof buttons as follows:

╖   Blue to green   - switching radio / CD (or cassette)

╖   Grey to brown     - radio: switching AM / FM1 / FM2 
                         CD: repetition of music

╖   Pink to brown   - Radio: demanding next stored sender   
                         CD: demanding next title  

*)   When using older car radios with remote control RC 05/06, an adapter to jack plug 2,5 mm and the receiver box RC 06 is necessary.
