Radar Cover is custom designed to
fit the Escort 8500 X50 (also fits 8500, 7500s, &
7500), the Valentine One (thin chassis model made
from 2001 to present), and Beltronics STi and RX-65
(when not using audio output jack) radar detectors.
This provides protection for your expensive radar
detector.

The Radar Cover places the radar
detector inside a form fitting enclosure. This
protects the radar detector from moisture, dirt, and
dust.

Radar Cover is a thermo-formed

radar detector model. This provides a clean and

fits leading mounting solutions for motorcycles.
Simply place the detector inside the Radar
Cover and then return the entire assembly
back to the current mounting system. No need to buy
another special mount.
5. Compatible with Existing Shelf Systems
The Radar Cover can be mounted
directly to any flat surface. If a shelf system is
mounted on the motorcycle, the Radar Cover
can be mounted directly on the shelf, which
eliminates the expense of replacing the current
shelf system.

The Radar Cover is made up of two
pieces: the top or enclosure section, and the bottom or
plate. Both pieces are thermoformed 800 micron clear
plastic and form fit the shape of the Escort 8500 X50
(also fits 8500, 7500s, & 7500), the Valentine One (thin
chassis model made from 2001 to present), and Beltronics
STi and RX-65 (when not using audio output jack) radar
detectors. The two pieces of the Radar Cover
simply snap together. Velcro is included to further
anchor the top and bottom of the Radar Cover
together.
The sleek design of the Radar Cover
allows for both the power cord and earpiece cord to exit
from the underside of the enclosure. The top two
programming buttons on the radar detector are accessible
for operation. If you are using the H.A.R.D.

Installation Guide
Placing the radar detector inside the Radar
Cover is easy and outlined in the following
steps.
The Radar Cover bottom is
placed on the motorcycle mount or shelf by using one
of the included sets of 2 x 2 heavy duty Velcro.
The radar detector is secured in place on the
bottom of the Radar Cover by using the included
second set of 2 x 2 heavy duty Velcro.
The top of the Radar Cover is
snapped in place over the radar detector. The two
sets of 1 x 1 Velcro are used to anchor the top of
the Radar Cover to the radar
detector (this eliminates the chance of the top
coming off while riding). In hot weather we
recommend leaving the cover off, if rain is not
expected.
