I really like using disposable Lithium cells for long trips of 4-5 days or more. I can do 4-7 12-hour days as group ride leader on one set of lithiums. $9 and no charger to deal with. It's awesome! I use the included rechargeable NiMhd packs for day rides and general use. The "weather-resistant" qualities of the Midland really do make a difference. Was recently caught on the BRP in a big storm. Everybody else's brands dropped out, but the two of us running Midlands kept right on talking through the storm. |
