The StarCom helmet headsets are designed and built in the UK to a very high standard.   Each kit consists of two low profile stereo speakers (except PP-04 and PP-06 which only include the 3.5mm jack) and an anti-vibration noise canceling directional microphone.

All headsets on this page include the HSEX-01 coiled extension cable.   If you just need a replacement headset without the extension cable please shop on this page.

Product Overview

The speakers are designed to easily fit into a helmet and are mounted within a slim line plastic baffle and then in a comfort fit padded mounting disks with a Velcro stick pad. The speakers have great audio response providing both excellent music quality and crystal clear speech and are powerful enough to be heard at high speed even with open face helmets. The StarCom1 microphones, the most important part of a helmet system, are virtually immune to background noise, wind noise and mechanical vibration. Each headset on this page includes 1 HSEX-01 coiled headset extension cable.

SH-004

Closed Face Helmet Kit

 The SH-004 is the standard StarCom1 helmetset.  The mic is connected via a small wire and is mounted on the helmet with velcro. sh-004_size2.jpg.

SH-006

Open Face Helmet Kit

 The SH-006 is the same as the SH-004 but the mic is mounted on a flexible boom. sh-006_size2.jpg

 

PP-04

Plug Phones - In Ear Speakers

 Tecstar PlugPhones are designed to combine a high-quality, acoustically compensated ear speaker with a generic ear plug for use on motorcycle sound systems. Two types of ear-tips are included. To compensate for differences of ear volume, low-frequency compensation filters have been designed to provide the optimum bass response.
