These headsets feature J & M's high-output AeroMike® III miniature boom microphone (tuned for use with all factory installed motorcycle audio systems), two of our wide-fidelity helmet speakers in stereo, our new slide-in shorty-style mounting system, along with the upper section (only) of our P-series 8-pin hook-up cord built into the headset pouch.
This is the best performing and most versatile shorty-style helmet headset on the market today and can be removed or re-installed in a matter of minutes to suit your riding needs.
You will appreciate the superior ambient noise canceling and wind blocking ability of the latest version of our high-output AeroMike® III microphone.
This headset can be connected to any factory installed motorcycle audio system in existence today, now and in the foreseeable future, just by interchanging the lower-section hook-up cord.

- designed to be installed into most open face, flip-front and full-coverage style helmets.
HS-BCD279-OF-HO
- designed to be installed into most open-face, and can also be used in some of the flip-front style helmets.
HS-BCD279-FL-HO
- designed to be installed into most flip-front and some of the open face (3/4) style helmets with removable cheek pads as part of their interior design.
HS-BCD279-FF
- designed to be installed into most full-face style helmets (not flip-up style).
HS-BCD284-HJH-HO
- designed to be installed into the later model HJC/Harley® shorty style helmets, with the flip-down sunvisor.
HS-ICD284-HHU-HO
- designed to be installed into most of the shorty-style helmets available in the marketplace today.
HOOK-UP CORDS
You will need to choose a “P” series lower-section hook-up cord from the 2nd drop down box above. See the chart below for proper connection of this headset to your audio system.
